I Believe Things Will Pick Up In 2012

We have been herded like cattle by "The Media", "The Political Parties" and "any other forces working against America". I say it is time for "We The People" to wake up to that fact. Things can change for the better but there are some things we need to do.
1) Pray - Probably the most important step. We have allowed a few to drive a wedge between us and God. God is more important than political party so it's time to put Him first again.
2) Don't allow The Media or The Pundits to tell you who to vote for - Seems to me they have not done us any favors with their selections. I don't listen to them anymore, they always favor the establishment candidates and that seems to be where the problems come in. Lobbyists tell them how to vote, groups like The Apollo Group write the bills and the politicians force them through even when the majority of us don't want it. If the majority of us didn't want ObamaCare why are the politicians who were pushing it through still there? whay are many of them unafraid of losing their job? Because they believe The Party will protect them? Because they think The Media will cover for them? Because they think the political ads will convince us? I say start watching what they are doing and ignore The Media and the ads and if you are not sure Vote Out the old establishment politicians and vote in new Tea Party type candidates. Even if you don't select the best person, they at least don't owe their soul to the party or the lobbyists.
3) In 2010 a few Tea Party people got elected and most of the politicians have complained they can't get a compromise, if not for those few people we would have been sold down the river worse than we were. I don't think the problem is the new people, I think the problem is that we didn't get rid of enough of the old people.

We can finish the job in 2012. I would personally prefer The Fair Tax to anything I have heard about from anyone running but they will have to start somewhere. If they won't implement term limits on themselves we can do it for them. Each party tries to discourage people from the other party so they won't bother to vote. If everyone who is eligible to vote will get out and vote then we take back our country. I hear from many people "I'm only one vote so it doesn't matter anyway" That my friends is the biggest lie they have sold you. Your vote is important because if you believe like the majority of people your vote gets combined with millions of other votes and they add up. I have heard "They buy votes, they cheat, so what is the point". The point is that if everyone votes they can't cheat enough to make the difference, they know how many registered voters there are and if they all vote how do they steal votes when that would show that more people voted than were registered, now how could they explain that?

Vote Them Out

I am getting more frustrated with our politicians by the day. I even have to avoid the news often because they fight over things that should not be an argument. That is why I intend to really start promoting my website http://www.votethemouttoday.com/ and listing names of people that have been there too long and need to go so keep watching as I work on those lists. Some of it is already posted on the individual state pages which I'm constantly updating.
For now I will focus on one of the biggest problems which is the 2012 presidential election. Lets start with the statement that if our country is to survive as a free society OBAMA MUST GO! There are many reasons and I don't know them all but I'll throw out a few of the most obvious ones from my perspective and I invite anyone to help me add to the list.
1) He promotes raising taxes - Does anyone reading this think they don't pay enough taxes? About half the country don't pay any taxes anyway yet Obama and most of the Democrats keep saying the rich don't pay their fair share, that only discourages people from making more money, I remember when I was working when it got close to putting me in a higher tax bracket I may not take that overtime to keep my tax rate lower because I would pretty much end up with the same amount of money in the end. That's why I favor The Fair Tax.
2) Class Warfare - I'm an American. Not a White-American, Black-American, Hispanic-American, Rich-American, Poor-American or any other hyphenated American. I am a Christian but feel that if God gave humans Free Will it isn't up to me to challenge His Wisdom. I would prefer that everyone get rich, I always wanted to be rich and did my best to get there and my hat is off to people who do and I don't feel the politicians should penalize them for their efforts.
3) Lack of Leadership - Obama has been missing in action on most issues. ObamaCare: He let Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid work that out, they bribed and threatened everyone in DC to get that through, they didn't know what was in it, Did You? Obama didn't know what was in it. No one had read it so none of them knew what was in it. Libya: He waited too long and only did what he did after the UN told him to. Bin Laden: Yes he gave the order for the mission, I'll give him that. If he had had his way we would not have been in a position to do it since he was against all the tools used to gather the intelligence. IRAQ: All the effort to do things there, all the money and blood spent there, Obama didn't have the leadership to work it out and pulled the troops out. As soon as our troops were out the bombings started, I expect things to get worse and am afraid Iran will take over. The Payroll Tax Extension: It is not a tax cut to start with. Social Security is already in trouble and that is where they are reducing funding and calling it a tax reduction. He could have and should have if it was that important to him and the people he gives lip service to being concerned about, called Congress back and told them they were staying until they had a deal worked out, instead he goes on tv and blames the house republicans which is standard procedure for him. He Spends Way Too Much Taxpayer Money: A true leader sets an example. Many people are having a hard time paying their bill or even feeding themselves yet Obama goes on lavish vacations at a cost of millions of dollars in taxpayer money, proceeds to give money away to big campaign donors, one example Solyndra. There are so many more examples but I'd say you probably get the picture.

There are several Republican Candidates running for The Republican Nomination. I haven't decided who to support yet but my thinking is. Romney: Too moderate
Gingrich: I like some of the things he say but he has been around for a long time, that could mean he knows how to get things done, it could also mean he is too much a politician? Huntsman: Again I get the feeling he is too moderate. Paul: I like most of what he says but he scares me with his thoughts on Iran getting a nuke and I feel it is too important for America to Stand with Israel. Bachman: I like her and would not find any reason not to support her. Santorum: At first I felt like he was angry but over time I have come to think he is passionate and truthful in what he says. He seems to have the morals I can agree with and the stance on Israel I agree with and would prefer him to Obama any day. So I guess I'm starting to lean in that direction.
Whoever wins the Nomination will be who I support in the general election.

Who do you support?

I started out supporting Herman Cain but since he stopped his campaign I haven't decided who to support. I would ask that you make suggestions with your reasons.
I have watched the debates and believe all the candidates are getting better and whoever wins the nomination is who I will support in the general election and when I vote in the primary I will make a decision. I'm just curious about what others think! So let's skip the media spin and have a discussion. Seems to me that the media, the politicians and the pundits think their opinions are all that matter. I say "We The People" should be the ones to decide and our opinion is the important one.

Where Do We Go From Here

Was watching The X Factor wed night and Chris Renee sang a song he wrote called "Where do we go from here". I thought it was a good question and started thinking about it. Personally I liked Herman Cain for president and don't believe what they were saying and from what I heard it would not have stopped me from voting for him even if some of it was true. I'm no historical genius and never concerned myself with politics before 2008 but I know of several people who were president who did much worse then what Herman Cain was accused of.
To get back to the question: 1) Continue the process of the primary's 2) Decide who you like best and vote for them in the Primary 3) Whoever wins the Primary support in the General Election 4) VOTE and encourage everyone else to vote. 5) Get informed on the candidates for Congress and The Senate and vote for the people you believe supports your values the best.
I believe that if everyone who is legally eligible to vote does, America will get it right. To borrow a phrase from Herman Cain "The People Will Decide" and one from Glenn Beck "We Surround Them"
I will try to post things here but there will be other information posted on my website Vote Them Out Today
Check it out and make suggestions
