I Believe Things Will Pick Up In 2012

We have been herded like cattle by "The Media", "The Political Parties" and "any other forces working against America". I say it is time for "We The People" to wake up to that fact. Things can change for the better but there are some things we need to do.
1) Pray - Probably the most important step. We have allowed a few to drive a wedge between us and God. God is more important than political party so it's time to put Him first again.
2) Don't allow The Media or The Pundits to tell you who to vote for - Seems to me they have not done us any favors with their selections. I don't listen to them anymore, they always favor the establishment candidates and that seems to be where the problems come in. Lobbyists tell them how to vote, groups like The Apollo Group write the bills and the politicians force them through even when the majority of us don't want it. If the majority of us didn't want ObamaCare why are the politicians who were pushing it through still there? whay are many of them unafraid of losing their job? Because they believe The Party will protect them? Because they think The Media will cover for them? Because they think the political ads will convince us? I say start watching what they are doing and ignore The Media and the ads and if you are not sure Vote Out the old establishment politicians and vote in new Tea Party type candidates. Even if you don't select the best person, they at least don't owe their soul to the party or the lobbyists.
3) In 2010 a few Tea Party people got elected and most of the politicians have complained they can't get a compromise, if not for those few people we would have been sold down the river worse than we were. I don't think the problem is the new people, I think the problem is that we didn't get rid of enough of the old people.

We can finish the job in 2012. I would personally prefer The Fair Tax to anything I have heard about from anyone running but they will have to start somewhere. If they won't implement term limits on themselves we can do it for them. Each party tries to discourage people from the other party so they won't bother to vote. If everyone who is eligible to vote will get out and vote then we take back our country. I hear from many people "I'm only one vote so it doesn't matter anyway" That my friends is the biggest lie they have sold you. Your vote is important because if you believe like the majority of people your vote gets combined with millions of other votes and they add up. I have heard "They buy votes, they cheat, so what is the point". The point is that if everyone votes they can't cheat enough to make the difference, they know how many registered voters there are and if they all vote how do they steal votes when that would show that more people voted than were registered, now how could they explain that?

Vote Them Out

I am getting more frustrated with our politicians by the day. I even have to avoid the news often because they fight over things that should not be an argument. That is why I intend to really start promoting my website http://www.votethemouttoday.com/ and listing names of people that have been there too long and need to go so keep watching as I work on those lists. Some of it is already posted on the individual state pages which I'm constantly updating.
For now I will focus on one of the biggest problems which is the 2012 presidential election. Lets start with the statement that if our country is to survive as a free society OBAMA MUST GO! There are many reasons and I don't know them all but I'll throw out a few of the most obvious ones from my perspective and I invite anyone to help me add to the list.
1) He promotes raising taxes - Does anyone reading this think they don't pay enough taxes? About half the country don't pay any taxes anyway yet Obama and most of the Democrats keep saying the rich don't pay their fair share, that only discourages people from making more money, I remember when I was working when it got close to putting me in a higher tax bracket I may not take that overtime to keep my tax rate lower because I would pretty much end up with the same amount of money in the end. That's why I favor The Fair Tax.
2) Class Warfare - I'm an American. Not a White-American, Black-American, Hispanic-American, Rich-American, Poor-American or any other hyphenated American. I am a Christian but feel that if God gave humans Free Will it isn't up to me to challenge His Wisdom. I would prefer that everyone get rich, I always wanted to be rich and did my best to get there and my hat is off to people who do and I don't feel the politicians should penalize them for their efforts.
3) Lack of Leadership - Obama has been missing in action on most issues. ObamaCare: He let Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid work that out, they bribed and threatened everyone in DC to get that through, they didn't know what was in it, Did You? Obama didn't know what was in it. No one had read it so none of them knew what was in it. Libya: He waited too long and only did what he did after the UN told him to. Bin Laden: Yes he gave the order for the mission, I'll give him that. If he had had his way we would not have been in a position to do it since he was against all the tools used to gather the intelligence. IRAQ: All the effort to do things there, all the money and blood spent there, Obama didn't have the leadership to work it out and pulled the troops out. As soon as our troops were out the bombings started, I expect things to get worse and am afraid Iran will take over. The Payroll Tax Extension: It is not a tax cut to start with. Social Security is already in trouble and that is where they are reducing funding and calling it a tax reduction. He could have and should have if it was that important to him and the people he gives lip service to being concerned about, called Congress back and told them they were staying until they had a deal worked out, instead he goes on tv and blames the house republicans which is standard procedure for him. He Spends Way Too Much Taxpayer Money: A true leader sets an example. Many people are having a hard time paying their bill or even feeding themselves yet Obama goes on lavish vacations at a cost of millions of dollars in taxpayer money, proceeds to give money away to big campaign donors, one example Solyndra. There are so many more examples but I'd say you probably get the picture.

There are several Republican Candidates running for The Republican Nomination. I haven't decided who to support yet but my thinking is. Romney: Too moderate
Gingrich: I like some of the things he say but he has been around for a long time, that could mean he knows how to get things done, it could also mean he is too much a politician? Huntsman: Again I get the feeling he is too moderate. Paul: I like most of what he says but he scares me with his thoughts on Iran getting a nuke and I feel it is too important for America to Stand with Israel. Bachman: I like her and would not find any reason not to support her. Santorum: At first I felt like he was angry but over time I have come to think he is passionate and truthful in what he says. He seems to have the morals I can agree with and the stance on Israel I agree with and would prefer him to Obama any day. So I guess I'm starting to lean in that direction.
Whoever wins the Nomination will be who I support in the general election.

Who do you support?

I started out supporting Herman Cain but since he stopped his campaign I haven't decided who to support. I would ask that you make suggestions with your reasons.
I have watched the debates and believe all the candidates are getting better and whoever wins the nomination is who I will support in the general election and when I vote in the primary I will make a decision. I'm just curious about what others think! So let's skip the media spin and have a discussion. Seems to me that the media, the politicians and the pundits think their opinions are all that matter. I say "We The People" should be the ones to decide and our opinion is the important one.

Where Do We Go From Here

Was watching The X Factor wed night and Chris Renee sang a song he wrote called "Where do we go from here". I thought it was a good question and started thinking about it. Personally I liked Herman Cain for president and don't believe what they were saying and from what I heard it would not have stopped me from voting for him even if some of it was true. I'm no historical genius and never concerned myself with politics before 2008 but I know of several people who were president who did much worse then what Herman Cain was accused of.
To get back to the question: 1) Continue the process of the primary's 2) Decide who you like best and vote for them in the Primary 3) Whoever wins the Primary support in the General Election 4) VOTE and encourage everyone else to vote. 5) Get informed on the candidates for Congress and The Senate and vote for the people you believe supports your values the best.
I believe that if everyone who is legally eligible to vote does, America will get it right. To borrow a phrase from Herman Cain "The People Will Decide" and one from Glenn Beck "We Surround Them"
I will try to post things here but there will be other information posted on my website Vote Them Out Today
Check it out and make suggestions

My thoughts on all the charges against Herman Cain

There is always a possibility that some of the charges may have some base in fact. Having said that: Is it any of my business? No , I wouldn't want the media, the government or anyone else looking into my personal private matters. Any of the things that have been reported are a personal matter for Herman Cain and his family, period, end of story. For some reason, first Politico ran a story insinuating there were charges of sexual harassment against him and all the media sources went nuts, insisting that he did something really bad. The NRA said one of the women could speak about it even though she apparently signed an agreement. Funny thing is none of the media sources that I watch ever said anymore about it. It brought his numbers down some but it didn't destroy him. Then Sharon Bialek came out with Gloria Allred accusing Herman Cain of even more serious things, personally I didn't believe her and there were more people than just me who didn't, but again the media did their best to give the story some credibility. Again it hurt his numbers but it didn't destroy him completely. Actually Ann Coulter wrote a pretty good piece on this at Ann Coulter article
Now there is another woman who claims a 13 year affair with Herman Cain. I ask again is it any of my business? Again No it isn't

My thoughts are that someone is afraid of Obama running against a black man who happens to be likable and conservative. If I step back and think about it the charges come one at a time and I suspect the timing. It occurs to me that whoever is orchestrating this doesn't want to hurt his campaign, they want to destroy him completely. Now I don't know and won't make accusations against anyone without proof. I do however want to make some obsevations and present a couple of theories.

The media, including Fox has been saying from day one: "He can't win", "Mitt Romney is the only one who can beat Obama", They can't understand why Romney can't get above 25%, etc. I say Obama and his team, the DNC etc are worried about not having the race card to play. The RNC may not want the nominee to be someone who doesn't owe them so is more difficult to control? I fear that Romney is the one they all want because I haven't seen anyone really attack him in a serious way. In some ways they may be more worried about Newt but so far I haven't seen many attacks against him, at least nothing serious.

One thing I have learned is if they (you decide who they are) are not scared of you they tend to leave you alone. If they are scared of you they have to destroy you, not just knock you out of the race but completely destroy you because you dared challenge their power and control.

For those reasons when I vote in the primary I will vote for Herman Cain if he is still in the race because I personally refuse to allow the powers that be to dictate who I will vote for. I urge everyone who is eligible to vote to get out and promote who they like and to get out and vote in the primary. As far as the primary goes "We The People" have a chance to over rule the political machine and the power players. We all complain about them yet we let them determine who we should vote for so lets send a very strong message in 2012, get out and vote for who you like, not because the media tells you this person or that person can win. I have faith in God and the American People and if we all vote our values we won't make a mistake. To take a phrase from Glenn Beck "We Surround Them". Lets take back America and the Freedoms that have been taken away from us over the decades.

We need to do more than just defeat Obama

2012 will be very important but just getting rid of Obama isn't the whole story. Yes getting rid of Obama is very important but if that ends up not being the case (God forbid) we need to make sure he can't damage the country more. In order to do that we must also make sure we put as many Tea Party candidates as possible in The House and The Senate. If we can get Super Majorities then they are veto proof and we take all the teeth out of Obama's administration (in other words they could stop anything he tried to do that was bad).

In order to do that people need to know who is running and that is difficult to keep up with. One way I'm trying to do it is with my website Vote Them Out Today . Check it out and submit candidates that you may know about that I don't have for your state so I can check them out.

Vote Them Out

Lately the more I think about our politicians, the more I realize that most of them truly need to be voted out. I never really wanted to be that way but as I think about it I understand that they are the main problem. I was watching Huckabee tonight and he had a former lobbyist on who had been put in jail for some of the things he did. What I realized was, he would not have been able to do the things he did if not for the politicians that accepted bribes, payoffs etc. but they probably even encouraged it.
This is one of the reasons I support Herman Cain. He has not been a politician in DC so for me that is a plus. He said on Letterman last night that he didn't have any friends in Washington so he could and would do what he says.
How many times have "We The People" been told that we have to elect someone who knows how things work in Washington? The ones who tell us that are either politicians, lobbyists, the media or an analyst. I don't know about you but I don't trust any of those people!
It occurs to me that a few Tea Party candidates got elected in 2010 and they are trying to make a difference but they need more help. We can't afford to leave anyone in there for too long because the temptation of money and power may be too much for some of them to resist, they are human after all. Congress probably won't vote for term limits so it will be up to the voters to impose term limits on them.
2012 is a very important election the way I see it. We have to finish what we started in 2010 and replace more politicians with new Tea Party candidates and replace Obama with a non politician. I try to highlight as many people as I can at vote them out today It is a slow process and the fact that I do it all myself is difficult so if you want to let me know of someone I may have missed, please do.

"We The People" should bypass the media

There have been a few things recently about Herman Cain that most media outlets won't cover and I think they should cover both sides.
Mainly this will just be links and if you would help spread this around. Probably the media won't tell people these things so maybe "We The People" need to bypass them and help each other stay informed.

Can the media be trusted?

I have been thinking about the events of the past couple of weeks regarding the stories about Herman Cain and for me they don't pass the smell test.
First Politico ran the story about a couple of women who claimed they were sexually harassed, yet they could not say who gave them the tip, they had no idea what the charges were, they could not verify the sources or tell us any details at all. The fact that there was no proof of anything they kept the story going and every news station I turned on were running with it, even Fox News was running it almost non stop (they were not saying the things some of the others were). Many of them insisted that everything was true and the Cain campaign was finished. The people were still supporting Cain so they went further and the woman came out with Gloria Allred and made more claims, again with no proof, my instincts said they were not true because I asked my wife if something like that happened to her if she would need to read it or if she would remember it? She said she would be able to tell it from memory yet the woman had to read every word, I got the feeling someone wrote down what they wanted her to say. Kind of like how Obama reads everything from a teleprompter.
Now this has been just about the only thing the news is talking about. Ignoring some of the things they should be talking about (ie Fast and Furious, Iran getting a nuke, the super committee, 2012, the republican candidates tax plans, how to get jobs created, the violence at the OWS protests) as well as many other important stories.
I say the media has lost all credibility and I ignore their opinions. Unless their is some real proof, which personally I doubt, I will support Herman Cain because I believe he is trying to help the country where career politicians say whatever they need to say to get elected. I'm tired of politicians and I don't trust them. I think Herman Cain is wise enough to get people around him who are experts in certain areas and he will seek their advice and listen to them, unlike what we have now. I would not complain about Newt as VP because he does know how DC works.

Occupy Wall Street

Was thinking today. I would be afraid to go to an OWS protest. Even with the Democrats and most of the media saying things like, "They are peaceful", "They are just frustrated with the banks" etc.

At the same time I was never afraid to go to a Tea Party event. Even with the Democrats and most of the media saying things like, "They are terrorists", "They will get violent", "They are racists" and so many more nasty things that I stopped paying attention.

I would ask any thinking individual to consider which group they would feel safer in. One who breaks windows, starts fires, threatens reporters and says they want to destroy capitalism (The American Way of Life) or a group who directs their anger at specific issues (ie ObamaCare, spending, budget etc) and voices it at the politicians, has a peaceful rally, cleans up their mess and goes home and back to work.
Decide for yourself. For me "I choose the Tea Party" Restore America and "Change it back from what it has become since Obama".

Campaign idea for Herman Cain

I was thinking. I don't believe any of it but pretend for a moment that any of what they are saying had legs. In the grand scheme of things would it even matter. To me: not enough to change my mind. I think they are trying to get something they could use against Herman Cain in the general election because the race card wouldn't work. I say Mr. Cain should welcome one of the accusers telling their story with some conditions 1) They are hooked up to a lie detector and 2) Herman Cain gets to ask the questions. They could put it on PPV and raise money for the campaign.

Go Cain Go

This is only my opinion but I have been watching the news about the charges against Herman Cain and a few things come to mind. I'm sure there are more things so if you want to add your thoughts.
1) The charges have been from anonymous sources. Always suspect those.
2) The media has jumped all over it without having any facts. I thought they were supposed to verify things?
3) Now they say one of the women wants to be able to tell her story. I personally would like to hear it but I want her hooked up to a lie detector with Herman Cain asking the questions to be fair.
4) Even with everything they are trying to do to hurt his campaign the latest poll showed he is still moving up and he is getting more contributions so I think maybe it is doing just the opposite of what they are trying to do.
5) If you look at how the deck is stacked against him and how well he is doing I have to question if God may be helping out and if He is the rest can pack it in, including Obama.

Storm Warning

Are "We The People" going to let the media tell us who to vote for?

I listen to the news and get the impression from Fox they support Romney and are telling the viewers to vote for him because he can win. All the pundits are busy telling us Herman Cain doesn't have a chance yet they can't explain or understand why he keeps climbing in the polls. Every now and then I turn on msnbc or cnn to see what they are saying (can't watch for long at a time because they are so obvious about their bias), they slam Herman Cain every chance they get and I haven't heard them say much about Romney. Then my instincts kick in and I start thinking, if Fox tells us Herman Cain can't win but Romney can I don't trust it, then the other networks slam Cain and give Romney a pass. I wonder is it because they are afraid of Cain but not Romney?
I think back to 2008 when they went after Sarah Palin with such passion and I realize they really attack people they are afraid of so Obama won't have to face them in a debate.

Congress can't be trusted

During the last Republican debate while attacking Herman Cain's 999 Plan we heard from the politician's that congress could not be trusted. I agree with that statement and as I was thinking about it I came to the conclusion that the only real solution is vote out incumbents and replace them with people who haven't sold their soul's to either the lobbyist's or the party. It occurred to me that we had some success voting in Tea Party Candidates in 2010 and I say keep voting them out.

Why I Support Herman Cain

I Just Love It When God Takes Over!

Today is Oct 15 2011. For about a month I had been praying for God to raise up someone who would do His Will. Almost immediately Herman Cain started moving up in the polls. Now I'm not suggesting I had anything to do with that but I did wonder if God may be working on it.

Today was a strange day, I got up around noon which seems to be normal for me and for some reason I didn't drink much coffee, I put on some clothes and put the hand controls in the van. My wife and I were running to town so we stopped and got some gas and went to do what we set out to do. No surprises yet. We stopped at one place and my wife went in and came right back out and said Herman Cain was going to be in Rogersville around 4 PM. I looked at the time and said we don't have time to get there and started detailing all the reasons we couldn't do it, she said we could then for some reason I said get in and off we went.

Now normally it takes about 40 minutes to drive to Rogersville but somehow we were there in 20 minutes. We were told by a police officer there were no parking spots left so we were going to turn around there was an empty spot right there so we parked. I'm in a wheelchair so we really needed to be close. We got up to where the event was to be held and in a few minutes the bus pulled in. We were back a little ways and couldn't see when a woman we didn't know asked if we would like to be closer, we said yes and she said come on and some way people moved and we got right up by the stage. I don't know who the woman was but I would like to say thank you to her.

If you have not paid attention to Herman Cain I would suggest you listen to him with an open mind because he will make sense and give you real hope for the future of America. He talked about his 999 Plan and it does make sense as well as his vision for America to be the greatest country in the world as it always was and should always be.

After his speech another woman who had been talking to my wife said she could get a picture and email it to me. She said come on and again people moved and let us get right up front and I got to shake Mr. Cain's hand. My wife told him we were praying for him and he said keep praying.

Now the point of the whole story is all of the things that happened we did not plan or try to organize. In fact my instinct was we couldn't make any of it work out. I think God had different plans and when we let Him lead He will put you where He wants you. For that reason I am paying very close attention to Herman Cain because I believe God is in charge and He seems to be telling me to.

I have never in my life given a contribution to anyone running for president but am thinking about sending a contribution to Herman Cain at https://www.hermancain.com/donate
